Girls Weekend

Just got back from a relaxing girls weekend in Branson. Since Lumberjack Lodge was booked, we were able to stay at my moms house. Shopping was the main thing we wanted to do for our four day long weekend and the Branson area has some of the best shopping around. One of my favorite places to go is about 25 minutes away in Ozark MO called Boomland Square. There are some really cool flea markets and shops. I found some great finds for Lumberjack Lodge!! After a few hours of shopping at Boomland Square, we ate at one of my husbands favorite places - Lamberts. We then went back to house to watch a "chick flick" and enjoyed late night talks.

The next day we went to Springfield for some great shopping...loved the Rusty Moose Decor shop - found more great finds for Lumberjack Lodge. We then went back to the house that night for some Hook and Ladder pizza and more "chick flicks."

On Saturday, we went to Branson Landing and had a wonderful lunch at White River Fish House - fun to sit by window and watch boats go by. Shopped at a new store that I've never been to - Versona...have very cute jewelry and clothes. That evening we went to Branson Meadows where we watched a movie.

Sunday was one of my favorite days, we went to Top of the Rock which is so beautiful. It's only 5 minutes from Lumberjack Lodge. We ate Sunday brunch, which I highly recommend at Arnies Barn. We asked for a window seat because it is a beautiful 180 degree view of Table Rock Lake and golf course - breathtaking. We toured the church there which you can reserve for weddings - there is a wall of windows that overlooks the lake! The four of us then took a golf cart ride through the property which takes you through covered bridges and caves. There is even a bar in the cave - so cool!! We then went back to the house that night for our last movie night of Pretty Woman.

This weekend will always be special memories of shopping, movies, and girl talk I will never forget!!
